The leather of the bags that Bear Design manufactured comes from India. The cows live outside all year round and live more or less in the wild. Due to these circumstances, the hides of the cows are often very weathered and this is also reflected in the bags. Every bag from Bear Design is unique. Bear Design’s leather is largely tanned organically. After the tanning process, the leather is treated with wax and oil. This gives the special colors and gives the leather good protection against water. The leather is of a nice and smooth quality. To enjoy your bag for even longer, we recommend treating it with beeswax or leather fat over time to freshen up the structure of the leather. If you treat the leather with beeswax, the leather can become a bit darker in color, if you prefer not to use it than leather fat.
